Train with real water resistance

WaterRower simulates 1:1 the resistance that would otherwise be encountered when rowing in water. It's as if you were rowing on the water. Rowing training is the most efficient way to train effectively in the shortest possible time. With the unique and patented WaterRower water tank, your personal rowing training becomes an exhilarating experience. The harder you row, the faster the wheel turns. The resistance increases in line with the speed, thus increasing your training effect.

The elegant WaterRower design was developed to combine the physiological components of rowing with aesthetic beauty. WaterRower is the only piece of sports equipment to be exhibited in the London Design Museum. All models impress not only with their form and function but also with the use of high-quality materials. The solid heartwood used comes only from renewable timber plantations in the USA. It is young, smooth, very beautiful wood with few knots and knotholes. The understated elegance and simplicity, the compact design and the natural feeling of moving as if on water make your WaterRower a machine of exceptional quality.

The new S4 power monitor has been developed and designed to be user-friendly and easy to use. Simply switch it on and you can start rowing training with precise power measurement. Exclusively from WaterRower, you receive special software for your PC, which you can connect directly to your WaterRower. This allows you to compete with effective opponents in daily published races!

Detail processing without compromise

The water tank is made of extremely robust and impact-resistant polycarbonate. This tank can withstand a lot and extreme temperature differences. The same material is used in the aircraft industry to make window panes. The WaterRower tank is easy to clean. No aggressive chemicals (except the special WaterRower chlorine tablets) should be used to keep the water clean.

The ball-bearing mounted polyurethane castors run smoothly and silently over the runners. The eight castors offer both horizontal and vertical stability and therefore seat stability.

The precision rod clutch transmits the power from the tension belt to the water wheel and is absolutely backlash-free. This is a very special quality feature and the "heart" of the WaterRower, so to speak. This clutch provides the "soft", pleasant and above all "tugging-free" feeling of resistance that the WaterRower conveys when rowing. The polyester tension bands are woven without stretching and are extremely robust. Thanks to the belt guide, the belts are wear-free.

The frame is made of solid core wood. The stainless steel models are made of stainless steel and the metal appliances are made of powder-coated metal. The connection of all parts is simple but very robust. For ethical reasons, only wood from naturally fast-growing and non-endangered tree populations is used.

The seat is ergonomically shaped (coccyx-free) and allows maximum freedom of movement when rowing. The trolley is designed so that it can be permanently loaded with a body weight of up to 185 kg.
